Gaviota Construction Inc. was started by Harold Fajardo and his wife Ma del Carmen in May of 2002. The Fajardos wanted to ensure the highest-quality work for their clients and inform them of all the residential construction remodeling phases. We welcome feedback from customers and strive make sure the customer’s vision for their home remodeling project is carried out. The Fajardos acknowledge that residential construction is about the family that lives in the home they are providing contracting services for. They treat each house they remodel as if it was their own.

Harold is a person of integrity with a strong personality and an upbeat spirit that always is looking to achieve success in the goals he sets out. He manages his business with the knowledge needed to produce quality work not only at each job-site but also from his business managers and employees. Harold’s unique ability to organize and manage various projects and his entrepreneurial spirit come from his many years of training and experience in his previous employment.
Harold Fajardo spent 14 years managing and operating growth for major corporations in the Construction and Oil & Gas industry on a national and international level. Harold also spent time managing a large-scale chain store similar to Target with over 24 locations in Latin America. Harold has worked or been specifically trained the following fields: Business Management, Sales & Marketing
Management (TIA Training Center), General Cost Control (Grupo Azul Oil & Gas), Materials and Warehouse Organization (Constrazul), Computer and Systems en PCS & Mackintosh (Masterson Institute), Accountability, Finances, Statistic, Cost Management and Human Resources (University of Tourist Specialty of Cuba).
After arriving in the United States, Harold Fajardo spent many years working hard to develop the Quality Assurance Department(s) in different companies, maintaining an upper-level position such as: Air Spatial Components Assembly, Production Manager, Supervising Quality Control.

While there are so many variables that have contributed to our success, there has been no greater influence than by my lovely parents, Angela Mederos, Rafaela López y Hugo Fajardo. Without their support and love, we would not be who we are and where we stand today as a company.
Harold and Ma del Carmen would like to show their appreciation to the entire community of Minnesota for their support and business for the last 15 years in the industry. The Fajardos hope is to continue giving back to the community through their construction business for years to come. Harold and Ma del Carmen live in St. Paul where they raise their three daughters Selene, Gabriela, and Paloma and a little Chihuahua dog.
